A small, independent betting comparison desk
We compare a short list of UK-facing sportsbooks and explain the differences in plain English. We are a publisher, not an operator — and we are funded by affiliate commission, which we are upfront about.
What this site is
Crown Odds Room reviews and compares selected betting brands that accept customers in the UK. We look at the things that change a bettor's actual experience — market coverage, how clearly odds are shown, the mobile slip, bet builder and accumulator tools, payment options and how visible the terms and safer-gambling tools are.
We keep the list deliberately short. Five well-explained profiles are more useful than fifty thin ones, and a tight list is easier to keep honest and up to date.
What this site is not
We are not a bookmaker, sportsbook, casino or gambling operator. We do not take bets, set or change odds, accept deposits, process withdrawals, issue offers or manage anyone's account. We are also not a regulator and we are not owned by, or speaking for, any of the brands we list. When you place a bet, you do it on the operator's own platform, under their licence and terms.
How the comparison works
Every brand is assessed against the same checklist and the same weighting, so the profiles stay comparable. We work through each site the way a regular bettor would, then score it out of 10. Those scores are editorial opinions, not official ratings, and they don't predict your results. The detail behind the process is on our editorial review policy and how we compare pages.
How affiliate funding works
The site is free to read because of affiliate partnerships. When you follow a “Visit operator” link and go on to open an account, the operator may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra. Crucially, commercial relationships do not buy a higher score or a kinder review — we keep the editorial process separate from the commercial one. Keeping it current
Odds, markets, limits and promotions move constantly. We refresh profiles when something material changes, but the binding version of any offer or rule always lives on the operator's site — so please check there before betting. If you spot something out of date, our contact page is the quickest way to tell us.
